Comment: THIS IS A VERY GOOD WAY TO SEE THE CONCERT IF YOU CAN'T GET TO ONE.
I LOVE THIS DVD,FAVORITE SONG ONE LAST RUN. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE,MY DVD WILL WEAR OUT BEFORE I EVER GET TRIED OF WATCHING AND LISTING TO CHAD AND THE GUYS.

Comment: That Was uncalled for. Nothing he said offended anyone else but you. How dare he have an opinion. I don't know what you have against them. Second there is no way to can compare Nickelback to Bach. You just have straight up problems if you can. When reviewing a rock DVD, it is alright to compare them to another rock band. Led Zeppelin is by far the greatest rock band to live. I don't remember a time Bach played rock. If you remember be sure to let me know."I hate all of you who claim to understand music, when never have listened to something a little bit complex." Everyone has their own tastes in music. You need to grow up get a life.
The only thing I can agree with you is that this DVD is great.

Summary: Hometown Boys Rock DVD
Comment: Being a huge fan of the Nickelback boys, I had very high expectations of this DVD. Let me tell you, I was not in the least bit disappointed!
That these guys absolutely rock on their albums does not show the whole picture. Their live shows are the absolute testament to these guys' talent and ferocity as the best live band ever!
I had the great fortune of seeing Nickelback at a music festival in Canmore Alberta, Canada in 2002 and I was completely blown away. That show proved to me that, unlike other artists out there, these guys are the real deal and do not require the usual over-producing that other lacking talents so require.
I love that DVD producer Nigel Dick was able to utilize many different camera angles and show the best of the best! I also appreciate thet the band was willing to throw in the extras of the band behind the scenes and giving a peek at lead singer Chad Kroeger (Hubba, Hubba!) in songwriter mode, and all the guys joking around like normal human beings.I appreciate that the guys were able to pick out the best of their songs and play their hearts out for us. The only unfortunate thing is there were no songs from their first album Curb.
I really enjoyed that the band included some of their videos including the rarely seen version of Leader of Men and the making of Too Bad.
From the whole set up of the DVD, you can see that the band is looking for their fans to get the feel of the band, including those who have never had the privilege to see them live and in person, and that shows how much they care for the fans.
Whenever I watch my copy, I get that full-body tingle that came when I saw them live in concert and the fact I can relive that whole experience over and over again was worthwhile for me to spend the extra money even though I don't have a DVD player of my own!
Even though the DVD is totally awesome, it doesn't quite give the full effect of their live show, so if they're gonna be in your area and you have the cash to go, I would very much recommend seeing them live and in person!! NICKELBACK ROCKS!!!

Comment: This is by far one of the best concerts TO DATE out on DVD. All of the bonus features, multi angle views, and 5.1 sound top it all off. This is must buy to add to your collection!

Comment: THE FACT THAT THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY ENTERTAINING CONCERT VIDEO IS UNDENIABLE.SAMMY HAGAR'S CABO WABO DVD IS GREAT,BUT THIS ONE IS BETTER!THE CROWD IS REALLY INTO IT, AND NICKELBACK TUNES INTO THEIR EXCITEMENT AND REALLY STEPS UP THEIR GAME!!THE SOUND AND PICTURE QUALITY ARE EXCELLENT, MAKING THIS DVD A MUST FOR THOSE OF US WHO REALLY ENJOY QUALITY ROCK&ROLL CONCERTS.NICKELBACK WOULD BE GREAT IN ANY ERA.THEIR CONNECTION WITH THE AUDIENCE IS REFRESHING AND THEIR SHOWMANSHIP SHINES THRU ON THIS OUTSTANDING DVD!!
