Comment: I purchased this product to be used by a entire division of over 25 personel onboard a NAVY vessel. In the workspace, temperatures are always over 100 degrees, and the flashlight has been dropped numerous times on steel decks. The Maglight has even been submerged in oily water, and I have not had one problem with it.

Comment: I bought this flashlight because, every time I needed a flashlight around the house. The batteries would be weak or dead. And to replace the batteries usually cost more than the flashlite was worth. The recharable maglight, is heavy duty, durable, and a very, very bright light. Very pleased with this light. Wish I had bought one sooner.

Comment: I've always used Maglites (still do) but even they aren't perfect. I've had small ones die rather quickly & even this one died due to poor contact with the charger. I'd jiggle it until the red charge light came on but how long it lasted was random so when I needed it, it rarely worked. I think their quality control can use a swift kick.

Summary: A Great Flashlight
Comment: My husband is a retired police officer and had been issued a Mag Light. Since retirement, he has never been satisfied with any flashlight we have purchased. He would always complain that they were nothing compared to the Mag Light. I happened to see this on Amazon and it seemed to be a good price (comparatively) so I purchased it for him and he is now happily reunited with a Mag Light. I have to admit that I have never seen such an intense light and it certainly seems to be well constructed. We are happy with the purchase.
