Comment: I just got my windchime in the mail today and it sounds so wonderful. I went on the Woodstock website so I could listen to the sounds of the different chimes and decided on the GAS Gregorian Alto Chime. Amazon sent it right out and I am thrilled with my purchase. It sounds even better than it sounded on the website. I will probably buy another one for a different part of my yard. Truly beautiful music!!!

Summary: Happy with my melodic windchimes!
Comment: Well tuned, melodic chimes I hung outside my bedroom window. Even on the windiest of nights, I hear a clear well tuned mystical sound from these chimes! Well worth the small investment, four stars because I must care for the small wooden disc..it tends to weather quickly exposed to the elements.

These silver chimes play medieval alto notes inspired by the Gregorian chants of Europe. Company founder Garry Kvistad has developed an advanced method of tuning used on every Woodstock chime: each tube is analyzed digitally with a microphone under the tube measuring the frequency, and cutters are instructed to remove just the right amount of material to produce the most precise tuning possible.
