Customer Rating: Summary: 25 Wedding Favorites Comment: This is an excellent CD for a formal wedding, so-so for a casual one.
Customer Rating: Summary: A good selection Comment: This CD has a good selection of songs on it.
We will use one of the songs for the ceremony.
We found a couple of other wedding CDs on amazon.com too
One of them is "Classical Wedding Traditions"
The sound on this CD is simply amazing.
I will enjoy this one long after the wedding.
Amazon.com has helped us a lot in planning our wedding music.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent CD for Brides to Audition Comment: I'm a professional organist/pianist in Nashville (see http://www.OrganistOnTheRoof.org) and found this CD to contain very well executed selections of popular pieces suited for traditional ceremonies. I will refer brides to this album when consulting with them. "A Music Fan" who gave these performances one star obviously doesn't play an instrument himself.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good selection at affordable price Comment: It's a beatiful opportunity for selecting (or remembering) the soundtrack at your wedding ceremony. Some of the recordings are a bit pretentious and may somehow override the original score, but most are definitely appreciable. The anthology covers a broad variety of periods and genders: connoisseurs might want to be more selective.
Customer Rating: Summary: 25 Wedding Favorite... Almost Comment: As with many compilation CDs 25WF is long on music but short on musicianship. The performances are dull and lifeless with little or no attention to the subtleties necessary to perform these compositions. The recordings are reminiscent of a Jr. College Orchestra performing late in the day. The sound quality is thin and hollow which adds to the dreary atmosphere. An unremarkable set of recordings to be avoided at all costs.
