Customer Rating: Summary: Not the worst grill I've ever owned, but proabably the worst grill for the money I've ever owned. Comment: My family of four has been RVing recreationally for nearly seven years now, from Maine to Texas to Alaska to Florida. Additionally, over the last 25 years, I've grilled on everything from hibachis to campfires to large charcoal grills to smokers to big gas grills. I've found this grill, which we've owned now for 16 months, unimpressive at best. Some of its drawbacks: 1. The stand is cumbersome to assemble and difficult to level, even when the surface upon which it sits is itself level. 2. The stand (and grill) feel like they are going to topple, particularly when opening the lid. 3. Because of the leveling issues, the grease doesn't always drain the way it is supposed to. 4. Even when it does drain, it drains into a plastic container with an extremely narrow mouth. The only way I've found to clean it is to microwave the container to melt the grease once it has coagulated. A drip pan would be much handier. 5. Though the piezo start works very well, I still find myself lifting the griddle (before it gets hot) to ensure that the burner is actually lit. Couldn't we put a window or opening fellows so that I know that the burner has lit without having to lift the entire grill surface? 6. The grill is cumbersome to get back into the case. Additionally, my case ripped at the seams after only six months of moderate use.
I understand from other reviews that some have found this to be a fabulous grill. More power to 'em and I say "Grill on." From my own experience of perhaps 50-60 uses in all kinds of weather, I can't recommend it.
Customer Rating: Summary: grill 2 go Comment: Easy to take along camping or any other outing. The cleanup is quick.
Customer Rating: Summary: I Love it!!!!!!! Comment: You can look right at it and know it's NOT a GRILL! To have grilled food-you need a grill grate! We used ours and it's great! We will be putting it in the camper because of the ease of carrying and cleaning! This way I don't have to lug the stove out of the camper to put on outside. It will save me the extra pots and pans, after all when we go camping we go to relax!
Would reccomend it to all campers
Customer Rating: Summary: Amazing Lady! Comment: This Grill-to-go is one amazing lady! We take her to all of our camping and tailgating. I knew I had to have one after I witnessed friends with one not only cook hotdogs and burgers but also fixed a chicken stir fry with it. They also cooked bacon, eggs, and pancakes without the need for extra pans. We even heated our pop-tarts up on it! It is super easy to clean up and doesn't leave a greasy mess in the back of my van!
Customer Rating: Summary: Watch Out, Product was 2 years old Comment: The first time I used the grill the regulator would not operate properly to allow constant propane flow. When I called the service center I was informed that the product was a 2003 model. They required proof of purchase in order to receive a replacement part.
Grill works fine for burgers, but don't think I would attempt a steak.

The portable Thermos Grill-2-Go offers on-the-fly grilling for people who like speedy setup, versatile cooking surfaces, and no leaping flames. Quick and simple to assemble, the Grill-2-Go breaks down into two tidy pieces for flexible storage and easy transportation. Besides its portability, the grill has several clever features, including insertable side tables (stored inside the grill between uses), a detachable grease receptacle with stopper, and storage notches for the spatula, tongs, and cleaning comb. Thermos has looked after the details, too. Rubber bumpers protect the lid if it slips out of your hand, and a built-in level tells you whether you're cooking on sloped ground. This adaptable grill suits the menu for any time of day--try eggs on the flat griddle in the morning and T-bones on the grill at night. Works with either a small fuel tank or a large tank with hose adapter. --Emily Bedard
