Summary: Zap! goes the spider!
Comment: I have several of these around my house. They are wonderful!
This gizmo is great for flying bugs - you don't have to squash them, just hit them.
However, it is simply awesome when killing spiders! Found one of the icky critters on a wall? Don't squash it or spray it... simply place the racket over them. If it's a big spider - ZAP! If it's a little spider, any movement on their part will bring it in contact with the rackets wires and then - ZAP! Like I said - Simply Awesome!

Summary: For what it is, it's fantastic
Comment: These things are, nearly by definition, cheaply made. They're novelty items, not something to seriously use for a major insect problem (that's what bug zappers are for). That being said, this thing is great. It's morbidly fun to watch mosquitos briefly flare when they hit the wires, and somewhat terrifying to see the larger insects flare.

Comment: Just received my bug zapper yesterday. For someone who is fatally allergic to stings I wish I would of had this baby years ago!!! I will no longer be scared to go outside in fear anymore!!

Summary: Bug Zapper is Awesome, the bugs actually spark and smoke
Comment: This bug zapper is the only one I have found that works. And don't expect your male friends to show any restraint, every man who has looked at it has had to test it to see if it will actually shock him. Yes, it does. Women don't have this problem. (There are two buttons set quite far apart that you have to push simultaneously to make it function, so little kids are in no danger.)
My favorite bug to zap is the little fruit flies that come off the bananas. Always so irritating, I love watching them spark and pop as they die. I find it VERY satisfying. And yellow jackets are the BEST. Maybe it is gruesome, but I must have given away 10 of them and everybody loves them!!!

Summary: Solved problem of insects in home
Comment: Was looking for a way to easily and efficiently kill the occasional flying insect that got into home...especially wanted a way to kill mosquitoes.
This works excellently!
If a mosquito flies in when door is opened, I grab this and within a minute or two have been able to kill it.
I am very pleased. This is an effective insect killing device which solved the problem...it's clean, efficient, effective.

For all you armchair athletes, this might become your new sport of choice. It's a fly swatter with a kick. Should any small, unwary winged creature come within range you become "The Terminator." As soon as contact is made, it's all over for the bug. Now let's see who's king of the patio!
