Summary: Not recommended.
Comment: I have always been a loyal Sennheiser fan. Having owned several headphones from them, I expected the continuation of high quality sound without having to spend thousands of dollars. However, the PMX-60 does not fit the bill. The Bass is very weak even when amped. Treble is too high and I find myself constantly adjusting EQ settings to make it sound "right". (Anyone knows a good headphone does not require any adjustments). The neckband can be uncomfortable due to hard plastics without any insulating material.
Overall, I find the sound quality to be poor and not up to standard. Even though these headphones weren't expensive, I wouldn't recommend it. Spend a bit more and get the PX-100s, you won't be disappointed.

Comment: These headphones are well-desgined, comfortable to wear. The quality can be described as good at its price. There's a wide range of bass and treble, perfect for hardrock and heavy metal. When used to listen to high quality (320kbps mp3) or lossless (FLAC) music you don't seem to miss any single nuance of the records. It sounds heavy in your ears (though not as loud as my cowon eardbud). If u press the heaphones tighter against your ears you'd hear greater sound. Sadly there's no way to do that without using your hand. Still I'd give PMX60 5 stars for its reasonable price, sound quality and comfort, and also Amazon's great service. My product has always arrived on time without any defections. Recommend buying this for your portable CD player, any cowon iaudio players. And get this from Amazon, for their great service!!!!

Summary: Good for the gym
Comment: I got these headphones about 2 months ago. I use them exclusivly at the gym and running. They are light,comfortable, and stay in place. Sound quality is very good. They are lacking on the lows and highs, but mid-level sounds are very crisp. I keep reading about how bad these cans leak sound. To be honest, they do, but not as bad as other reviewers make it sound. I asked people around me if they cound hear it when I had it at comforable levels, and no one could. If you crank them way up, (on a noisy treadmill for example), people could hear them up to a couple of feet away. But, most people are 3 feet away on the next machine, so no big deal.
Over all... these are the best headphones I have ever used for working out. They sound great

Comment: I've used both this pair and the more expensive PMX 100's and each set has their own strengths and weaknesses.
This set is by far the more comfrotable of the two. This set is lighter (though not as durable as the PMX100's), has a lower profile which allows you to rest your head back on an airplane, and are more muted in terms of their design...more classy in a sense.
However, the PMX100 most definitely takes the prize in terms of sound quality with a broader range and deeper bass. Though, it should be noted that this set has a higher decibel output...not always the most important factor.
With all of this in mind, the PMX60 is in my opinion the perfect set of everyday use headphones. Better sounding than the packaged ipod headphones, cheap enough to the point where you won't be angry if you lose em, ridiculously light and comfortable (if you like behind the neck sets), and attractive to boot.
