Customer Rating: Summary: Other Reviewers Have No Clue Comment: I was skeptical when I purchased this product... Then I actually TRIED it (unlike some of the other reviewers.) I only purchased this product after I saw it get good reviews from a local news program & then followed it up with a little online research.
The back of the sheet you see in the pic has the instructions on it(what were they talking about?) I installed 2 antennas on a friends reccomendation - One on the back side of the battery & another inside the phone casing. Point the triangle towards your antenna for best results.
Went from 0 bars in my basement to 1 consistantly. From one bar outside my house to 2. Two def. worked better than one as I tested before adding a second. This is not a freak thing, I am getting consistant results. I did read in one report however that some phones get better results than others (just like some phones get better reception than others to begin with)
I can't tell you HOW it works, but it DOES. You will not go from 1 bar to 5, but it will see some improvement. I didn't belive it untill I tried it. For 4 bucks how can you go wrong anyway? Search for local news stories on the product in Houston, etc. for other ACTUAL reviews - Not ones slapped together by people that have no actual experience with the product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Impressive looking, but..... Comment: This device, at first glance, looks magnificent and hightech. But it will not boost the signal of your phone. Let's suppose for a minute, that this shiney piece of paper worked. There would then be the problem of installing it, and believe me, this is quite a problem. The instructions aren't aided by a single diagram, and to top it off, I caught three mistakes (four if you count that it said it has an 18 month life span {spelling life "lift"})
Bottom line: Avoid this product at all costs.
Customer Rating: Summary: Quack Device Comment: Folks, this is nothing more than a sticker with a design on it.
It can in no way, and does in no way improve reception at all.
They were selling these for $20, now I see they are down to $1, and even that is a rip off, unless you are a collector of quack devices, in which case, you must have this for your collection of quack devices from this century.
I am keeping mine in it's bubble package and display it on the wall near my test bench.
One day these will be worth something as collectors items, but don't get one beleiving that it can actually do what it claims, because that is physically impossible.
