Summary: Nice mat - but still gets slippery
Comment: This mat is heavy, soft, and appears to be made of very high quality material. However, I have had a lot of difficulty in removing the slippery film. I have used it for approx 20 yoga sessions, I have wiped it down after each session, and I have scrubbed it a few times with a nylon brush, but it is still slippery when wet.

Comment: I have been using 2 thinner mats for about 3 years and finally spent the money for a really good mat. I am very happy with this mat. It is thick enough to use alone. It is slippery at first because of a film they put on it. But in a few weeks of use, it works wonderfully. I have no compaints.

Comment: Makes a huge difference in your practice. Everything from a handstand to arm balances to shavasana feels better. I feel my money was well invested. Remember to wash it before you use it, or it will be very slippery (I used a moist towel). Have a wonderful practice!
