Summary: Great Cleaner
Comment: Using tips from other purchasers, I boiled some water to use with the cleaner. I couldn't believe my carpets when I was done. Also couldn't believe the DIRTY water that was in the take up container. There was no assembly to the product, other than to raise the handle. It was very easy to use. My only complaint would be that the power cord kept getting in the way. I hooked it on the machine, but I would think that if the manufacturer would bring it out closer to the top of the machine, it would be much easier to use. Overall, I am satisfied. The last time I had my carpets professionally cleaned it cost me $265. for my first floor. I purchased the machine for less, cleaned the same area, and had money left and a machine to use again. Great purchase!!

Comment: It cleans really well. You just have to make sure that your water is really hot. I love the compact design and the different colors that they come in. The only down side is that I had to refill the solution tank half way threw my cleaning. But that may be because I use the surge cleaning a lot and I think it uses more water.

Comment: I first saw this machine being demonstrated on one of the home shopping channels, but I turned to Amazon and there were lots of reviews, almost all were positive, so I bought one. I tried it on an area rug with is about 6 x 10. It worked very well, just in this area, I think I used half the solution tank and the recovery tank looked half full also or close to it. The detergent that comes with the machine is only 16oz, and it looks like you have to use lots of it, 2 caps for each time you fill it up. Other reviewers called it light, I am not sure about that, it had some weight, I have not done stairways yet, but it might be on the heavy side to drag up/down stairs. I bought more detergent, I would recommend that, the 16oz wont go to far. The carpet looked great, and dried in 3 hrs. I vacuumed it again, and it did pull up some stuff, very fluffy and nice on the feet. Good machine and worth the money.

Summary: Difficult to use because of weight
Comment: This carpet cleaner works okay and seems to get up most of the dirt. My main complaint though is that it is extremely heavy, especially on stairs. I just finished doing the stairs going to the second floor and I am exhausted from trying to manuever this product. I have owned several rug cleaners in the past and none have been this difficult to work with or this heavy. Agility is a poor choice of word to have in the name.
