Summary: Still flying high
Comment: Bought this from Amazon a year ago(June 05) and installed it with 160 lb of readymix. The halyard shipped with it was for a shorter pole, but cutomer service replaced it quickly. Highly recommend this for the normal residential installation. Flag is taken down during stormy weather (our two FL hurricaines) It has proved an asset to our landscape, allowing us to demonstrate patriotism and school spirit (Go Gators).

Summary: Grand old flag at a great price
Comment: Good quality flag pole that is simple to install with easy to follow directions. I was replacing an existing flag pole that was made out of 2" steel pipe (which is 2 inches inside diameter)this new flag pole is made of 2" outside diameter aluminum tubing and so it slipped perfectly inside the existing pipe, which was already secured in concrete in the ground. The rest of the installation was also quite easy to complete.
The flag which comes with the kit is a very high quality sewn nylon flag which would easily sell for $30.00 own its own.

The entire inside length of the flagpole is galvanized to prevent rusting while the outside is beautifully finished with a natural aluminum finish.
