This one is 36 and after using it, I'm glad I have the extra light. It works great for a reading light. The light to me still seems flourescent with perhaps a different tint. The light doesn't buzz or throw off any heat. As you can probably tell from the picture, this isn't a living room light. It's black, and well, at least it doesn't stick out. Otherwise it seems well built and works great for reading. The 50 watt model seemed too big and don't think the extra power is needed for reading. Perhaps for light therapy if that's why you're buying it. More Reviews
