Summary: Great Grill. On Time Delivery
Comment: We received our Weber Genesis Silver B a few weeks ago. Even though many previous reviewers complained about Amazon's shipping and delivery, we had no problem getting ours on time. A local delivery company contacted us via telephone when the package arrived in our area. We scheduled a delivery time and the package showed up with no problem at all. It came in a giant package and barely fit through the door. My husband took his sweet time putting the grill together, but it definitely took less than an hour to put everything together. This grill is great. Even temperature and quick heatup. Easy clean up and we hope this will last us for a long time.

Summary: Weber tips
Comment: 1. Immediately, get the cast iron grates. They are bulletproof, easy to maintain and they leave really pretty stripes on your steak.
2. Keep 4 standard red bricks on hand. They fit perfectly, 2-by-2 in the bucket, on the flavorizor bars. For kebabs, remove the grates and insert the bricks. Lay your kebabs spanning from brick to brick (kebabs should be cooked at way high temps).
3. For indirect grilling, barbequing or slow smoking, lay a 12x12 ceramic tile, across the bricks. (16x16 may also work, but I don't have one of those hanging around). All this extra stuff holds the heat and keeps the unit at a more constant temperature in addition to keeping direct heat away from the meat.
4. Keep it covered when not in use.
If you're a night owl, get the lite handle.
Great unit. -well built, will last many years of grilling.
Yet, I have not found a really effective method to smoke wood chips.

Comment: I love this grill and was very pleased how easily it was to assemble. Unlike some of the reviews I read; Amazon got the grill to me on the date promised.

Comment: I had to put this together by myself and in less than an hour I had some steaks on the barbie. Only complaint is i'm not fond of ceramic grills but I solved that by using a cast iron grill from another pit.

Comment: I found this grill to be easy to assemble resulting in a high quality, durable product. It's the best grill we've owned in our 38 years of marriage. I find it easy to set and adjust the cooking temperature desired. Also, the indirect heat option is a great cooking method for selected items. My only disappointments were the plastic main wheels. For the price we paid, I would have expected more functional/durable metal wheels with rubber tires.
