Summary: Cardo Scala 500 Delivers
Comment: I purchased the Cardo Scala 500 based on research on the Internet, which indicated that it was one of only two (and the best) that work with the Treo 650. It was also the cheapest, at $35. I was skeptical because the brand was unknown to me and the price was so low, but I am impressed. This is my first Bluetooth headset so I didn't really know what to expect, but sound and transmission quality are very good. People on the other end of the conversation can't tell I'm even on a Bluetooth. There is occasional crackling on my end, but it's not frequent and only minor at its worst. Works well in the car too. Battery life is excellent. I recommend the Cardo Scala 500.

Summary: Treo 650 Reception
Comment: Purchased the Cardo Scala expecting great things based on what others have written. The cost is not bad ($34) and it paired fine. Also, the battery life is good. The functionality is terrible. Bad static unless phone is right next to headset. If you wear phone on your left side and use headset on your right ear, this bluetooth is not for you. Also, the volume is very low. If you are outside, good luck hearing the person you are speaking with. I imagine in a library you would be fine though. I have gone back to my plug in headset and the fancy cardo scala is now sitting in my desk drawer.

Comment: I took the advice of the other reviews and bought this, and it is awesome. You can stand in the wind and there is no interference, and with the sound control, even as a firefighter, whose losing his hearing, it was really loud and I had to turn the volume down. At times, the receiver states that it sounds like I'm in a hallway, but the positives clearly outweighs this one negative.
Great for driving, and it was extremely easy to install to my phone, and I would purchase this again if I had to! Hope this helps!

Summary: BEST BLUETOOTH ON THE MARKET
Comment: I had this headset originally, and then lost it. After I lost my original, I figured I'd give a motorolla one a try, and purchased the most expensive motorolla on the market (H700).
Using my treo 650, I COULD NOT HEAR ANYTHING people were saying, and got constant complaints that the people I was talking to couldn't hear me well. The volume was terrible, and so was the sound quality.
This headset is SO LOUD that i have to keep it on the 3rd from highest setting. The clarity is great! People think I'm talking on a land line. For the $35 bucks, I bought a new one and chucked my motorolla in the garbage.
IM SO HAPPY TO HAVE MY SCALA BACK!

An integrated speaker booster provides substantially higher volume capacity than is common in other headsets.
