Customer Rating: Summary: good product Comment: Good headset, good sound, Great price. I had another brand I bought at a store for $19 (which I returned) the sound works better on this one. Its sound wasn't as good as this one and the fit was bad. This one has good sound and the fit is better than the other one (although not perfect). I can't complain.
Customer Rating: Summary: This completely sucks Comment: The sound is horrible... people say I sound like I am in a muffled tunnel. And I bought two, to have in case the BT ran down.... poor me..... And my Plantronics 620 works like cr*p too. No noise cancellation worth a d*mn... forget about using it when driving a car.... I am trying to find a new one...
Customer Rating: Summary: Better than a Bluetooth headset, here's why: Comment: This wired Motorola RAZR headset is better than a Bluetooth one for these reasons:
-the mic is closer to your mouth so your voice will sound better and clearer than a Bluetooth headset where the mic is way up by your ear. I tried a wireless Bluetooth headset and my voice always sounded distant and callers could hear ambient room noise around me. They said I sounded like I was using a speakerphone. But when I use this wired headset, they say my voice is quite clear and loud.
-it's easier to just plug in this wired headset at any time than fool around with the settings for syncing with the Bluetooth when you want to be on headset.
-This headset is easier to carry with you than a Bluetooth one and no AC adapater charger or battery is required.
-This headset is cheaper than a Bluetooth headset and in fact comes bundled with some RAZR phones.
The only reason I'm not rating this headset 5 stars is that I agree with other reviews, the earpiece doesn't fit that snuggly in the ear. This is a minor complaint for me though as the headset does pretty much what I want it to do and it does it nicely.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Sound Comment: This headset is a great backup for the bluetooth. Good that Motorola realized the need. The only drawback is that it can slip out of the ear. I put a sponge cover on it from a pair of earbuds - Motorola might consider including in the future. Now it stays put. The sound quality is very good.
Customer Rating: Summary: Poor overall design. Comment: People complained about the earbud being too big, but it is not meant to go straight into the ear, but rather to be sideways. This is supposedly less damaging to one's hearing. That said, it still doesn't fit well, and is rather uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the clip that comes with it tears the outter insulation on the wire apart. put the clip on and leave it. Taking it off will tear the wire, tring to slide it will tear the wire. This product gets an F- for engineering, but a B for sound quality, hence, 2 stars.
