Comment: SELLERS BEWARE! The ad that the buyer purchased from very clearly stated "This Fan (MODEL 1071) has an adapter included, but instead of the multi-position stand it has a larger base for standing on a table,etc.." HOW MUCH CLEARER THAN "This Fan (Model 1071)" IS NEEDED? Her quote about our ad comments was from an ad entered days after her order, when we received the 1054 (It is against Amazon policy to pre-sell or sell anything that can't be shipped within 2 days.) BTW - the ad she claims she ordered from is priced $1 higher than the ad she ACTUALLY ordered from. Does she have the ability to change ad prices? We offered to refund her purchase price after she returned the fans, good & proper customer service.

Comment: According to the ad comments I ordered model #1054 fan with legs and free adapter. Ad Comments states in bold letters "Best price for model 1054. This model comes with legs as pictured in model 1053 plus comes with a free adapter"I was sent model #1071 a fan with an adapter and no legs. It tips over and is far from the quality of the fan I ordered. Deopinc lacks customer service with an "oh well" attitude and allows me to exchange or receive a refund as long as I now pay extra postage and an additional $1.00 for the item I ordered but they did not send me.

Comment: I use one of these fans set on top of an open cooler with a block of ice as a make shift air conditioner for a tent when camping in the warmer months in Texas (April through November). The fan is as quiet as a regular box fan at home, and as powerful as any oscilating 10" fan. The lack of an oscilating function is somewhat disheartening in a tent cooling application as it only spreads cooled air in a cone shaped pattern in front of it, but it is powerful enough to move the air completely around, and out of a 10x12 6 foot tall tent and keep it a liveable lower 70s in the tent, when just outside that zippered door it is almost 100 degrees and 90% humidity. This isn't exactly paradise, but it is pretty nice to be able to go to an inland lake 150-300 miles away to do some freshwater fishing, and enjoy my state parks without having to rent a motel room, or an R.V.

Comment: Living in Miami and experiencing Hurricanes frequently this fan becomes a necessity. After every hurricane there is usually no power for 7-14 days. This fan kept us cool and made it much more bearable to be inside the house with no power and 90 degree weather. Great Fan ,worth every penny..Im going to purchase a second one.

Stay cool when the power goes out with this portable battery powered fan. The battery fan is equipped to operate on 12 volts of battery power or 120 volts from a house outlet. A battery operated fan is a must for hurricanes or when the power goes out. This portable battery powered fan goes anywhere and last for over 24 hours on a set of alkaline batteries.
