Comment: Disappointed in the quality of the irons. the 5 and the 8 iron each broke after about 100 swings over a period of 2 month. The rubber handle feels cheap and hard in the hands. I am almost becoming paranoid with the rest of the sets. I feel like they are going to break if I swing too much. For its price you get what you paid for.

Comment: I got this set of clubs when they were on sale for $89.99 with free shipping. The clubs have a good appearance and feel. I'm just starting and I think this a great set to start with for the price. I've used them alot in the in the last 2 months and I've had no problems at all. The bag is also very nice.

Summary: Dubious sturdiness
Comment: I agree with everything the previous reviewer said, about the look, that is. Last week the set arrived at my door. I immediately opened the box, tore off the plastic wraps, and was more than pleased with the good look and the feel of the clubs and the bag. The very next day, however, my excitement turned into disappointment. After a couple of swings at the driving range, the head of the driver broke! Taking a closer look at the broken head, all I could tell is it appeared to be made of some cheap stuff, plastic and aluminum, maybe? From the beginning I knew I was getting a cheap set that might not last long, yet it still surprised me by lasting THAT short.

Comment: I recently received these clubs, and I gotta say how impressed I am. Don't let the tiny price tag fool you, this set is of a surprising quality. All the clubs are built solidly with good weight/balance: the drivers' graphite shafts flex but don't "bend" and the oversized heads make it a little easier on you, the irons have a more than sufficient striking surface, and the rubber grips just feel glued to you hands (don't worry, that's a good thing). The putter is your basic run-of-the-mill club, but if you're like me, you look at putting as just the stuff you gotta deal with at the end of the day. The bag is nice as well, with a light but sturdy automatic stand, double shoulder strap (but I still just sling it over one), and plenty of pocket space. The only thing left to be seen is whether or not the set will hold up to the test of time. All-in-all, it's the perfect golf set for a beginner that wants to get swinging, but doesn't want to shell out the big bucks for a name brand.
