Summary: Solid design w/real key
Comment: It really comes with real keys, so they cannot be opened with a pen cap, etc. Lock is what you would expect from a U-bolt and the handy frame cage let's you bolt the lock on your bike frame during riding and easily releases when needed. Overall a real bargain!

Summary: Key Lock, NOT Barrel
Comment: My locks (I ordered 2) came with a real key, not the barrel type key which can opened with a pen. The locks are great. I highly recommend using 2 U-locks to lock the frame and one wheel to something immovable and a second to secure the other wheel to the frame. (versus 1 U-lock with a cable as I have had even the strongest cables cut in half.)

Comment: I completely agree with the previous person. Any piece of plastic of a "key-shape" may be used to open this lock. In addition the plastic outer layer tends to rotate in relation to the inner metal lock itself. Don't even consider purchasing this lock.
