Summary: splinters and scratches
Comment: the bench is great! nice looking but for some damage to the side rails and seat. i like it, but am thinking of sending it back and get another one. or maybe just live with the damage. after rubbing my hand along the rail and feeling the sharp splinters, i think it is going back. now i must wonder if the next one will be in the same condition, or better, or worse.....

Comment: Arrived in 1 week with free shipping...easy to assemble..no manual for care, so I would recommend that you take note that amazon description calls for teak oil if you want to preserve color
