Summary: dissapointed
Comment: I purchased this for a gift to a dear friend and when she unwrapped it the look was enough. I found the item to be rather insignificant in size. The hummingbird seemed to be the largest piece of the entire windchime and I was embarrassed by the rather tiny size of this chime. Once we hung it outside the wind never did move the chime nor did it play a sound though it was quite a bit windy. Sounded ok when we walked outside and it was moving in our hands.

Summary: Great Grandmother Christmas Gifts
Comment: I bought two of these chimes for my grandmothers, both of whom love to watch hummingbirds. With the below exception of a damaged item, the chimes were very nice. I usually don't care for the high-pitch of small chimes, but these actually have a lovely sound for such short bells. The bird was also well crafted and painted but very fragile. I would only recommend hanging this chime on a porch with limited wind exposure; it would not last long in a windy area.
As previously mentioned, one of the chimes arrived broken. The bird is wooden and has a long, thin beak, which had broken off of the bird's head. Fortunately, we contacted Amazon right away, and they immediately sent a replacement item without even waiting to receive our damaged chime. Their customer service was exceptional, and the exchange of products was very easy.

Summary: Perfectly tuned
Comment: When I received the chimes they were smaller than I thought they would be, probably my mistake for not reading the dimensions carefully. They are of excellent quality. Although, I do not have any musical background, I felt they were perfectly tuned within a certain range. High pitch. (but not the aggravating high pitch, very appealing) If you are looking for deep baritones, try looking at the Woodstock Percussion BWS Bali - (Silver) available on Amazon for [$$]. I find having a range of sizes and tones gives a very nice blended sound.

Summary: Relaxing and wonderful
Comment: I recieved my wind chimes and not only are they beautiful to look at but the melodic sound is so realxing and wonderful . I couldn't bring myself to hang them outside ,they are hung in my bedroom from a cieling fan so the sound can be heard all the time !!!
