Customer Rating: Summary: Very impressed Comment: I am a reasonably expert griller, and took this baby for a picnic today, buying a cylinder from home-depot for $2.19. I was pretty worried that I didn't test it prior to going, but it not only saved my face, it actually worked wonderfully. The heat was uniform, and 7 chicken drumsticks got cooked in 24 minutes, even though weather wasn't too hot, and it was windy. The heat was more uniform than my stationary, 3-burner grill in my backyard. This is a nice grill that won't let you down, if you can pull your stuff together. Happy grilling.
Customer Rating: Summary: Beware Comment: Many of the reviews I have read here have all the hallmarks of being written by the marketing department of Weber. Either that, or a whole group of copywriters decided to buy this grill. I am starting not to trust amazon reviews, which is a shame.
Customer Rating: Summary: Finally!!!!!! Comment: I've tried several small bbq's as I have limited space to use and store. Most of them had some good features but had glaring faults, most commonly hot spots, blowing out in wind, hard to clean. Spent the money and bought the Weber Baby 100! First day I tried it started out calm but a strong wind came up. The flame did not go out! Everything worked as it should. I followed the included manual instructions to the "T." The chicken was moist and each piece was cooked evenly over the entire surface. This one is the keeper for me!
Customer Rating: Summary: Finally we agree!!!! Comment: After much research, including reading almost every single review on this site, I bought the Baby Q Grill for our camper excursions. I felt the size and portability would be a big plus...not to mention all of the wonderful things everyone was posting about it. So, I told my husband," You're going to LOVE this grill!! People rave over this grill. They have nothing but praise for this grill. Review after review and nothing but positive remarks." So...you guessed it...the first time he uses it...and the grill won't stay lit! It was as if something was blocking the flow of propane.(We were using the adapter hose and large propane bottle) He must have relit the grill 20 times trying to cook our burgers. And...I tell him..."No one has ever posted a review with this problem...really!" So, after cking it out and even asking our local propane/grill dealership for advice..(they had no clue) We packed it back up...and headed back to Target where we purchased it. We did have a receipt which was fortunate for us...and Target replaced it with another Baby Q Grill. (we were determined to get the same results everyone else was having!) AND.......we did! First time.... it started and remained lit the entire time! So, now my husband, "Loves this grill....Raves over this grill.... Has nothing but praise for this grill." Yea....Finally we agree! (Quess it was a fluke!)
