First time I tried to use it with a portable cooler (drawing 4 Amps) the plastic in the body fitting melted from the heat that was generated internally and the plastic fused the contacts preventing it from working ever again. Would be okay for light use (cell phones, pdas etc) but don't buy if you want to use it with coolers or other heavy current devices. More Reviews
