Summary: Sandisk admitted to me it won't work on many common PCs
Comment: Works great on my phone, but my PC is unable to copy files to it. I could move files captured on my phone to my PC but not vice versa. I have a brand new Gateway and after an hour on the phone with Sandisk technical support testing different things, they told me that the card must be defective, so they asked me to return it to Amazon. Since they admitted that their card was defective I was not happy that they just didn't sent me a new one rather than make me go thru Amazon, but Amazon was Great about the return and sent me a new one immediately at no cost to me whatsoever. Then the new one had the same exact problem and after another hour on the phone with Sandisk tech support, they finally admitted that their product is known to not work on all PCs and card readers. I tried other cards and they work fine, but this one doesn't on that machine. I've since tried it on two other machines, both Dells, and it works on one but not the other. All 3 machines read other cards fine, just not this one. I will say that when using it in the phone it works great; no hassles whatsoever. But if you want to move pictures or songs from your PC to your phone via your card reader, then you may or may not be able to, and if not, Sandisk will just say "tough luck."

Summary: simple and small
Comment: I got this card to go with my new Canon DC40 Camcorder. I gave this miniSD card five stars because so far (a little over a month now) I haven't had any problems with it. It seems fast and reliable and the darn thing's just so cute and tiny. I mean, it is a bit difficult to get all that excited about storage media. But as long as it doesn't suddenly become corrupted or slow down the camera, it's doing just fine by me. Also, I don't have a problem with the card being too small (as one reviewer suggests) since I'm not doing a lot of back and forth with it. Instead, I just keep it in the camera - it never comes out. If that's your plan, then I wouldn't worry too much. But chances are, if you're looking at this product, it's because you've got a phone/camera/computer/etc. that will only take a Mini-SD anyway, so the size really isn't going to be a deciding factor in whether you get this product or not.

Summary: More memory then I know what to do with.
Comment: This card is great. So much space on it. Right now I'm filling it with pictures, keeping a digital album on my phone. Still plenty of room for anything else though. It's nice to have a resume on hand in case I need to e-mail it or beam it to someone.

Summary: NOT for Garmin eTrex Legend Cx
Comment: Oops! The Lengend doesn't use the mini SD, but the micro SD!!! I guess I should have read the manual better, or taken the other card out to look at it more closely (who knew there was something smaller than mini anyway? and why didn't you tell me?) I guess it's good that I can use the card on my laptop (with the adapter into my SD card slot), which is what I'm currently doing. Fits there fine. Well, I just ordered the 1 gig micro SD from amazon.com and since I got in on the free Prime shipping I should have it in two days. That one should fit... So remember, if you're buying the mini SD for your eTrex Legend Cx (I think the Vista Cx is the same too) STOP! amazom.com sells the micro SD card as well, for pretty much the same price, and the micro SD is what you need. Don't make the same mistake I did... you've been warned. For other USERS check out your manual to make sure you need the mini, not the micro!

Editorial Reviews:

The SanDisk miniSD memory card offers all of the benefits of a standard SD SecureDigital card, but in a much smaller size. In fact, it is over 60% smaller than a full-sized SD card. The SanDisk miniSD cards are used to store digital images, video, MP3 files and other data in mobile phones.
