Comment: If you consider that you throw away more money then the cost of this holster -- Buy it!
I think that the holster is not as good as what it trying to protect. It could use many improvments; a flap/cover for the gage area, a little more padding in the material or maybe thicker, a belt loop that stop slapping your leg.
But it dosn't cost much -- Heck, is better than nothing!
And it might provide a *little* protection in the storage bin.

Comment: This tool has been very nice to have,very useful. Well constructed legs, I wish the markings were etched, Not an applied sticker. The markings are accurate but easy to scratch off.

Summary: Nice pouch to protect your protractor!
Comment: Nice little padded pouch to protect your precious Starrett protractor while it sits in your tool box waiting to save you time on your next moulding project. It does have a built in loop for strapping onto your belt but the protractor slides in and out of the back pocket of your Wranglers a lot easier.
