Comment: I agree with the review by Doug Davis. The product shipped is not what is shown. I have the product shown. The phone goes in easily with the battery cover facing out. It is very secure. The phone is easily removed with one hand.
The product shipped has four clasps around the sides of the phone and another securing the top. The phone goes in with the screen facing out, exposing it to scratches. I have not yet figured out how to release the phone - with two hands, let alone one hand. It is not released by the clasps around the sides of the phone. It does not easily slide out the top as the top clasp catches on the textured Motorola logo on the battery cover. I hope the manufacturer does not think the I am going to take the whole phone and clip off my belt each time I want to use the phone. Of course, there are no instructions or photos with the packaging.
I have to give this one star, but it is really a "zero"!
Buyer beware! You are not getting what is shown on Amazon's website.

Comment: I have ordered this item 3 times from Amazon. The first time, it was exactly as pictured and worked perfectly. The second and third time it was a different clip. The clip was for a RAZR, but was a different style. The one I recieve has several design flaws. One being the fact that the phone clips in with the small screen facing outwards. This exposes it to scratches.
The second flaw is that it does not hold the phone very tightly. The phone seams to never correctly clip in. The third one I purchased was for a friend. His phone fell out and broke in half the second day he had the new clip.
I would have rated this item zero stars had it let me. Do not buy this clip unless you have free phone replacement.

Summary: Great Product - if only it was sturdy
Comment: I bought this for my wife's RAZR. While the holster is well designed and the phone clips is perfectly - the clip portion of the holster (that is connected to the spring) cracked for no apparent reason after less than a month. I called Amazon and they sent me a replacement. After less than a month the new holster has also cracked in exactly the same spot! In light of this can not reccommend this product. I am going to request a refund this time.

Summary: Works great if you use it right--one question for other reviewers...
Comment: Like many other reviewers, I find that this clip works perfectly if you put the phone in "backwards" with the glass screen facing your body. One question for those who have had this clip for awhile: Is there a danger of the plastic (which seems to rest directly on the glass) scratching the screen? I'm thinking of putting some thin cloth tape on the clip to serve as a buffer, but I don't want to bother if no one has had a problem after prolonged use.

Summary: Belt Holster functions well
Comment: Unlike some of the other reviews, I find that this holster holds my phone securely when facing with screen out. It clamps securely onto the back of the phone and will not fall out. If I place the phone with face in, it is loose in the holster and can fall out, if I lean over. Perhaps the design changed since these other reviews were made. A minor problem is that if you open the phone all the way with the holster attached, the camera lens is partially blocked. But I don't find this to be a major issue.
